Abstract: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a growing impairment that manifests in communication and social interaction. People suffer from delayed speech and often fail to recognize basic facial emotions, making social interactions more difficult to sustain. Considering the need to improve communication between caregivers and health professionals, we propose an IoT and Artificial Intelligence-based System (Android App) to assist in treating children with Autism. It helps doctors/therapists use these tools efficiently to analyze the patient. This paper aims to develop an Autism app/framework (AutBot) that would help recognize ASD children's emotions and analyze their performance while performing activities given by the doctor. The proposed system is formed by interconnecting several modules: the application module, Arduino Uno, autism card reader support, display module, face detection, and emotion recognition module. The proposed system is tested on various scenarios and can recognize emotions successfully using OpenVino. © 2022 ACM.
