Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has thrown the well-structured institutional learning processes into a complete disarray and complexity, with students and teachers being homebound due to the rapid spread of the highly infectious disease.Since the disruption took place in the midst of the teaching session, it called for a quick alternative that would meet the basic learning requirements. The simplest option was to turn towards online learning so that the disruption would be minimal, and continuity could be maintained. The world, including India, looked at E-learning as the best bet in the current scenario. However, what was lost in the din was an even better option, that of M-learning or Mobile-learning. This is more suited for learning, thanks to deep penetration of mobile phones, cheap data plans, low household income due to pandemic and a sound understanding of an already existing device. In fact, mobile learning which can be anywhere and anytime is here to stay for good. This chapter explores how M-learning is the best way forward to make education more accessible. We will look at how M-learning can help to tear down economic and social barriers that will ensure education is more inclusive. The personal interviews of stakeholders like teachers and parents have been undertaken during the research and the same has incorporated with media reports and academic findings. The chapter will also see how technological growth can be incorporated into M-learning process and how our existing education policy should look at pushing for M-learning.
