Cloud computing has revolutionized the way organizations access computing resources and manage infrastructure and applications. Key characteristics include on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, and measured service. Service models include Infrastructure as a Service (laaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). Deployment models include public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud. Benefits include increased agility, lower costs, high scalability, and reduced time to market for IT services. Challenges include security, compliance, lock-in, and determining optimal cloud strategies. However, cloud computing has become mainstream, with global public cloud spending expected to continue growing rapidly. The future trajectory of cloud computing is expected to evolve as machine learning, edge computing, and open source solutions drive innovation in cloud services. This paper provides a holistic overview of key concepts, technologies, adoption trends, and future trajectory of cloud computingen_US
