Abstract: This report documents the development and implementation of a sudoku puzzle game and a basic ping pong game using C++ programming language. The motivation behind this project was to gain practical hands-on experience in game development and enhance programming skills in C++. Through this project, core computer science concepts including abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and recursion were applied in a game development context. The object-oriented and modular nature of C++ was leveraged to create engaging and playable games with polished user experiences. The sudoku game involves generating a partially filled 9x9 sudoku board and allowing players to fill the remaining empty cells by entering numbers from 1 to 9. The numbers must be entered such that each row, column, and 3x3 subgrid contains unique digits from 1 to 9. The game logic includes randomly generating a solvable and valid sudoku board, validating the user input numbers, providing visual feedback by highlighting errors, and tracking the overall progress as cells are correctly filled.
