This study describes the development of a C++ terminal-based e-commerce application that addresses modern business issues. By adding necessary features including user interaction, iten selection, cart management, item filtering, and a checkout procedure with bill production, the project aims to maximize the shopping experience for both buyers and sellers. An admin mode is also added to make inventory management easier._x000D_ In order to solve issues with data permanence, file handling is included. This enables real-time modifications to a text file, guaranteeing an accurate and continuous depiction of the inventory. The development methodology guarantees code maintenance, debugging simplicity, and modularity._x000D_ Ultimately, the e-commerce application that runs on a terminal employs a methodical approach by integrating concepts of object-oriented programming and making deliberate coding choices to improve functionality and surmount issues related to runtime data persistence.
