Abstract: The project's objective is to provide a low-cost and simple substitute for taxis for those seeking carpool partners. We achieve this by matching individuals based on their preferences with other carpoolers who share their interests through our clever use of object-oriented programming paradigms in our C++ program._x000D_ The Haversine formula is used to determine the distance between two users so that we can match them based on their locations. The User Database class manages the user data and accurately records all the user details. The system considers each user's personal preferences before carefully matching them with others, allowing for a diversified matching mechanism that prioritizes the comfort of the individual. Eventually, we may improve things by further simulating our matching system, verifying the accuracy of the data, utilizing more sophisticated tools to compare dates, and enhancing the size and appearance of the interface. As it stands, our system matches folks rather well._x000D_ This study attempts to investigate the several approaches to matching individuals and develop a recommendation system based on one of those approaches. It provides a straightforward solution that will facilitate future feature optimization and scaling to meet the needs of customers seeking out travel companions who share similar interests.
