Implementation of Payment Services for Utility Bill Payment

Abstract

This report is a combination of two different projects in the field of data analytics. The first project gives an overview and detailed understanding of the limitation of the current Leakage Analytics that SEW provides to utilities along with enhancing its use cases which are insightful and beneficial to them. The second project is closely related to creating analytics to observe the customer behaviour on the SEW website. For Leakage analytics, it can be useful for a utility admin to observe the customers that have high frequency of leaks and need immediate attention. In addition to this, the admin may also want an overall summary of leaks and duration depending on different segments over a period of time. For Customer Journey, we build visualizations and reports from the production data that enhance the CSP portal. We did our research on existing CSP and made reports of what new can be incorporated into it. In this manner it is essential to discover viable visualization techniques for analysis. It can be useful for an admin to observe the customer behaviour on the website and to observe the various touch points in the customer journey. A great deal of enhancements have been made in this field in light of the utilization of visualization tools. We explored data, did statistical analysis and created dashboards which analyze the business performance and provided our recommendations to improve the customer journey and identify frequent leaks that can be scrutinized over to take actions against to efficiently save resources. For this we use the historical data so as to gain insights and give descriptive analytics. We procured data from different databases, preprocessed and then imported it into powerbi
