Abstract: This chapter represents the execution and the technical findings of out team for the odd semester of 2023. Our problem statement revolves around the topic of text compression. We employ the techniques of Huffman encoding using data structures such as Huffman trees, Priority queues etc. Thus, we successfully demonstrated the ability to reduce file size by about 50%. Read further for details regarding the methodology.
