Abstract: The report entails the work done in the internship on the topic of automation Automation is concept that could be applied in any field but is seen as a regularity in the field of computer science to reduce human intervention in the process that is monotonous. The department assigned was Quality Engineering and Assurance which includes a set of testers testing the code developed by the developer as a part of the agile team. The major part of the internship throws light on Selenium automation using Java as the programming language. Under the supervision of the trainer, the interns were taught Java, MySQL, JavaScript, REST, SOAP and few other concepts from scratch that would come handy while doing the mini, main, and hackathon projects. The training also included the learnings in the form of UDEMY courses in the areas of XML, JSON, Cucumber, POSTMAN concepts that helped implementing features in the projects that I worked on during the internship. The objective of the entire internship was to learn to develop the code from scratch, to automate the tasks given to the interns in the form of projects and to make sure the code is error free and catches any errors if any. The immediate outcome was the implementation of learner's abilities in the form of hands-on and code challenge assessments.
