Abstract: The primary objective of the Sorting Visualizer is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Through a user- friendly graphical interface, the project visually demonstrates how each sorting algorithm operates, step by step, on a given set of data. Users can interact with the visualizations, gaining insights into the comparative efficiency, time complexity, and the underlying principles of each algorithm. The project's significance lies in its educational value. Traditional teaching methods often involve theoretical explanations of sorting algorithms, leaving students with a conceptual understanding but lacking a tangible grasp of their workings. The Sorting Visualizer addresses this limitation by providing a hands on experience, allowing students to witness the algorithms in action and develop an intuitive understanding of their strengths and weaknesses._x000D_ The results section presents visual representations of the sorting algorithms in action. Screenshots or animations capture the step-by-step execution of each algorithm on sample data. The observations and insights gained from these visualizations contribute to a deeper understanding of the algorithms' behaviour and efficiency. In conclusion, the Sorting Visualizer project provides a valuable resource for computer science students seeking to enhance their understanding of sorting algorithms. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical visualization, this tool empowers students to develop a holistic grasp of sorting techniques, preparing them for real-world challenges in software development. The project's impact extends beyond the classroom, contributing to the broader discourse on educational tools in computer science. Through this project, we envision_x000D_ a future where students can seamlessly bridge the gap between theory and practice, fostering a new generation of skilled and intuitive software developers.
