Abstract: The Zip It project stands at the forefront of file compression, leveraging a sophisticated integration of advanced technologies, prominently featuring the Lempel algorithm and Huffman encoding. This innovative approach not only ensures optimal compression ratios but also addresses crucial aspects of data security. Notably, Zip It takes pride in its commitment to user accessibility, featuring a Python-based graphical user interface (GUI) designed to cater to users across varying technicalexpertise levels. Huffman Encoding. The incorporation of Huffman encoding further elevates the compression process. By intelligently assigning variable-length codes based on symbol frequencies, this techniqueoptimizes file compression, enhancing overall efficiency and performance. Furthermore, the strategic choice of the Lempel algorithm contributes to the reliability and efficiency of the decompression process. During decompression, the algorithm intelligently reconstructs the original data from the compressed form, ensuring that the information is faithfully restored. This reliability is crucial for users who rely on the decompressed data for various applications, emphasizing the algorithm's role in maintaining data integrity throughout the compression and decompression lifecycle.
