Abstract: This survey article adds to the comparative research of routing protocols in VANETs by providing practical implications for the design and optimization of communication techniques in dynamic vehicular networks. Index Terms: AODV, OLSR, DSDV, VANETS, QoS, Routing Proocols. The experiment is divided into four situations, each with a varied number of vehicles to reflect different traffic circumstances. The performance of AODV, OLSR, and DSDV is evaluated using a rigorous examination of key metrics such as sent and received packets, as well as Quality of Service (QoS) characteristics. Throughput, end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio, and packet loss ratio are examples of QoS measures. The results, presented in the form of comprehensive readings and graphs, provide a nuanced picture of how these protocols perform under various network loads and sizes, with a focus on the automotive environment.
