Abstract: Intellectual property rights provide owners with exclusive legal rights, which restrict others from accessing and using the same content, thereby diminishing market competition. Competition law, also known as anti-trust law, aims to encourage competition and enhance market accessibility. Therefore, it is evident that these two subjects are completely contradictory. On the other hand, there is another perspective that argues for the compatibility and mutual enhancement of the two domains. In today's fast-paced world of technological advancements, the intersection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Competition Law plays a crucial role in shaping legal frameworks worldwide. This research aims to provide a comprehensive comparative analysis of the transformative landscape where these two legal domains intersect. The coexistence of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Competition Law has become more complex due to technological progress and globalization. This study focuses on the utilization of intellectual property, specifically patents, trademarks, and copyrights, and explores the impact of competition principles on their usage. The research delves into the diverse strategies employed by different jurisdictions worldwide in order to understand and address the complexities that arise from technological advancements.
