Abstract: In the following research paper, an examination of the absorption of international law into the legal system of India can be found. It shines a light on the myriad ways in which India has interacted with the rest of the globe. Application of international legal norms and standards. In addition to this, an analysis of the constitutional framework for incorporating international law as well as the function of international treaties in Indian law is presented. “International law on the behaviour of nations and the treatment of individuals within nations limit,” states a statement made by the United Nations. It discusses a wide variety of matters that are of interest on a global scale, such as human rights, disarmament, international crime, refugees, immigration, concerns pertaining to civil rights, the treatment of prisoners, the application of force, and war. In addition to this, it is responsible for the management of global commons, such as the environment and sustainable development, international waterways, outer space, global communications, and global trade. Additional distinctions might be made between the two domains of international law. That is, the area of law known as private international law that addresses disagreements between private parties that involve numerous nations. Laws, rules, and principles of wide-ranging applicability are included in the body of study known as international law. These laws, rules, and principles address the manner in which nation-states and international organisations interact with one another, as well as the relationship that exists between these entities and natural or legal people. In some circles, the term “international law” is used interchangeably with “international law.”
