Abstract: This work hampers upon the evaluation of jurimetrics in legal research. The work establishes a link between scientific research methodology and law. The idea of scientific methodology to be used in legal research is prone to challenges as legal research is not equivalent to other research done in different fields. Even in the field of legal academia, where it might seem that scientific methodology to conduct legal research would be suitable, the authors try to put up a case that it is not that easy to achieve in the real scenario. The idea of cumulatively encapsulating all the peripherals that affect the making of judicial decisions and their application is not something which can be put in a test tube and be applied automatically to find the absolute correct solution to a problem. The work discusses some of the landmark Indian Judicial Decisions to highlight that social transformation and modification at the core level are something which can be achieved only through human interface, experience, analysis, and interpretation. The peripherals are not something that can be given a value in numbers.
