Abstract: This article explores the paradigms of environment expropriation and challenges in the context of rapid industrialization and climate change. The paper highlights the impact of expropriation measures on natural resources, ecosystems and biodiversity, and indigenous communities. It highlights the need for a strong course of sustainability by way of responsible resource management to mitigate environmental degradation. The text discusses the various legislations and international conventions for environment conservation. It has been stressed that climate change has that climate change has increased the demand for land thereby increasing the practice of land expropriation and displacement which has a direct impact on vulnerable communities having no formal rights over their property. The paper concludes by advocating for balancing ecological sustainability with industrial development for a sustainable future by lowering dependency on fossil fuels, stopping pollution, and encouraging environmentally friendly behaviour.
