Abstract: The hybrid workplace has evolved over the last 60 years and is no more an exception today but a reality to accept and the future to embrace. This chapter aims to equip the students and professionals with the in-depth knowledge of the hybrid workplace. The hybridizing mechanism exhibits the four elements: physical, virtual, social, and temporal aspects that form the different approaches to designing a hybrid workplace. Being largely adopted by organizations today, a hybrid workplace benefits employees with greater flexibility, and better worklife balance and aids in increasing productivity, saving operational costs, and ensuring a culture of happy and engaged employees.
