Abstract: By April 2021, the second wave of Coronavirus had engulfed every part of the world. This pandemic had altered the global economy for good, causing unprecedented volatility in financial markets world over. IMF described it as a black swan event, that was worst since the Great Depression of 1930s. The current situation was a testing time for Client Associates, India’s first "Multi Family Office", that provided a professional platform for Private Wealth Management services. Founded in 2002, Client Associates, offered wealth advisory to wealthy and ultra-wealthy families in India . Sitting in the company headquarters in Gurgaon, Rohit Sarin, one of the founders of the company was thinking hard about the emerging challenges that this pandemic had brought. With continued market volatility, while the immediate priority was to sustain investor confidence, it was also imperative to protect the business interests through continued client engagement and communication. India’s burgeoning online investment market coupled with digital transformation of Fintech, increased regulations, and the emergence of various online investment platforms, presented new challenges for the company . Having successfully managed investor money for over two decades, the current situation was demanding rethinking on various fronts. While the changing scenario presented newer opportunities, challenges were also abounding. Rohit needed to realign the company’s strategy in view of the emerging scenario.
