Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is very important part of 5G communication network. The use of IoT in healthcare sector has various benefits for the human beings. In healthcare-IoT (H-IoT), the detection of diseases at an early stage, diagnosis, and cure before the emergency medical condition are several features. The data from various sensors on the patient body who is in a remote area can be monitored and patient can be advised accordingly from the superspeciality hospital in a city. A secure healthcare infrastructure is very essential in H-IoT. Numerous security solutions are provided by researchers by using cryptographical and blockchain based algorithms. H-IoT has transformed from Healthcare 1.0 to Healthcare 5.0 with the communication technology transformation from 1G-5G communication. For the heterogenous network in H-IoT, several standards and protocols are proposed by researchers and standard organizations is also discussed in this chapter. The developments in H-IoT will lead to personalized well-being in future
