Abstract: Water is an essential resource for life existence. The lot of research is going on the various aspects of the water resources. Thus, in the present paper the attempt has been made to evaluate the research on ‘water resources’. For this, data was extracted from the Scopus for the period of 2009 to 2018, and it was analysed to find the growth of research articles and dominating authors and organizations. It was observed that there are 6311 articles and majority of them were contributed from Indian institute of technology. The author Singh, Ajay is at the top in context to citations
